Why I Wrote This Book

When I first thought about online learning I didn’t have a clue how to go about it, or if it would work as well as I imagined. At that time I worked in several teaching positions in a few branches of private tutoring business. But I was looking for teacher jobs online. And what I found out very quickly was that online jobs in teaching weren't in any way easier to come by than in the "offline" world. But after a while of experimenting and making a number of mistakes, I had found the perfect way how to teach online. It was not at all what I had been looking for when I began searching for online teaching jobs. And just a few weeks after I had started there was enough momentum (and income) to quit my job at the "brick and mortar" institution so I became a full-time online teacher.
